Billing Supervisor- Finance

People Incorporated Mental Health Services is seeking a Billing Supervisor to help lead our billing and revenue cycle team. This position is responsible for overseeing daily billing operations, ensuring claims are submitted and payments posted accurately, promptly, and in compliance. The role involves providing direct supervision and guidance to Medical Billing Specialists and Payment/Refund Specialists.

Schedule: Full-Time Monday-Friday, regular business hours

Locations: This is a hybrid position, 3000 Ames Crossing Road, Suite 600, 55121.

Hiring Range: $63,300 - $79,200 depending on qualifications. Plus $2,000 hiring bonus for external candidates

Main Duties:

  • Support organization’s Mission, Vision and Values as well as department and organizational policies, procedures and service standards, ensuring staff understand and integrate accordingly.
  • Oversee daily billing workflows to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Hire, train, and support the professional development and performance of team members
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal processes, month-end tasks, and reporting


Required Qualifications:

  • In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, 9 or more years of experience in billing management, accounts receivable, or a related financial role

AND

  • Minimum of one year of experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity

OR

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Five or more years of experience in billing management, accounts receivable, or a related financial role
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Completion of the People Incorporated’s Link to Leadership Program.
  • Two or more years prior supervisory experience
  • Leadership experience in a human services or health services organization
