Overview

About the Role

The Senior Manager of Warehouse Systems & Digitalization is a strategic leader focused on transforming our warehouse operations through technology and process innovation. In this role, you will spearhead the digitization of warehouse processes – designing efficient workflows, reducing manual and paper-based tasks, and implementing modern inventory tracking systems.

Your mission is to build and maintain the digital backbone of our fulfillment operation, from Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementation to barcode/RFID scanning and real-time data capture. You will collaborate closely with the operations team and our product/tech teams to ensure that our warehouse becomes smarter, more data-driven, and ready to scale to additional locations. This is an on-site role at our warehouse facility, where you’ll work hands-on with the team to pilot new technologies and continuously improve the system for peak performance and accuracy.

About the Job

  • Lead Warehouse Digitalization: Own the end-to-end strategy for modernizing warehouse operations through tech — from reducing manual workflows to planning systems that scale with future sites.
  • Optimize Workflows: Replace paper-based processes with efficient digital workflows across receiving, inventory, packing, and shipping.
  • Implement & Manage WMS: Drive selection, rollout, and daily management of a Warehouse Management System to ensure real-time inventory tracking and operational visibility.
  • Deploy Barcode/Scanning Tools: Introduce barcode or RFID systems to automate tracking and eliminate human error in inventory handling.
  • Integrate Systems: Collaborate with IT/Product to connect WMS with ERPs, order platforms, and internal dashboards.
  • Train & Support Teams: Create SOPs, train staff on new tools, and lead adoption efforts on the warehouse floor.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Use data to track performance, spot inefficiencies, and implement system-driven solutions.
  • Pilot New Tech: Explore and test new warehouse technologies (e.g., automation, IoT, wearables) that improve speed, accuracy, or scalability.
  • Support Growth: Standardize systems and processes to enable seamless expansion to a second warehouse location.

About You

  • Strong analytical mindset; comfortable using Excel, reports, or dashboards to track performance
  • Project management skills with experience leading cross-functional system rollouts
  • Effective communicator across warehouse teams and technical stakeholders
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, hands-on environments with shifting priorities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Led a full warehouse tech rollout (WMS, scanning, automation, etc.)
  • Six Sigma, PMP, or related certifications
  • BI tool experience (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
  • Light coding or scripting experience (SQL, Python, etc.)
  • Experience supporting multi-location warehouse operations
