Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Remote Beginner Tech Documentation Assistant to join our growing team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals passionate about technology and clear communication. The successful candidate will support our technical writing efforts, ensuring that our software products and services are well-documented and easily understandable for diverse audiences. This is a 100% remote position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating, updating, and maintaining technical documentation, including user manuals, API guides, release notes, and FAQs.
  • Review existing documentation for accuracy, clarity, and completeness.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather information and clarify technical concepts.
  • Ensure documentation adheres to established style guides and quality standards.
  • Organize and manage documentation repositories and version control systems.
  • Learn and apply new tools and technologies for documentation generation and publication.
  • Support the technical writing team with various administrative tasks as needed.

Required Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency with basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace).
