Overview


 


At Instacart, our Commercial Partnerships team focuses on establishing, nurturing, and growing our partnerships with brick-and-mortar stores and CPG brands across North America. As a Sales Systems & Tools Manager I within the Commercial Excellence organization, you will play a key role in building the tools and processes needed to scale our business, and ultimately contributing to Instacart’s growth and success. 


 


About the Role


 


As a Sales Systems & Tools Manager I, you will act as a liaison between the technical and non-technical departments. You will partner cross-functionally with IT and business teams to design, implement, and maintain best-in-class technology solutions for Instacart’s Business Development Retail, Strategy & Planning, and Independent Grocery & Mid-Market Retail Partnerships business. You will manage the day-to-day operations of the tools platform, including sales support on CPQ, Salesforce, and integrated third-party tools. In this role, you will also help influence the strategy for Instacart’s sales tools ecosystem to meet the growing needs of the business. 


 


About the Team


 


Systems & Tools (S&T) sits within Commercial Excellence, and is responsible for defining and executing the tooling strategy for sales enablement and effectiveness programs at Instacart. S&T is uniquely positioned to provide centralized tooling support to the sales organization by leveraging our partnerships, harnessing our technical skills, and tapping into our program management expertise. We aim to empower our sales teams by leveraging technology, data, and strategic insights to achieve operational efficiency and revenue growth.


 


About the Job 


 



  • Work with business stakeholders to analyze and document requirements on sales initiatives.

  • Partner with technical teams in IT to design and implement high quality CPQ & Salesforce solutions.

  • Run the day-to-day support and operations of the platform, and participate in Agile ceremonies.

  • Support tool pilots, integrations, change management, reporting, and other tasks as needed.

  • Balance long-term and ad-hoc projects independently in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

  • Identify and recommend tools and processes that can be improved with automation and AI.


 


About You


 


Minimum Qualifications


 



  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or Computer Sciences.

  • 3-4 years of applicable experience, preferably in a digital advertising or e-Commerce organization.

  • Salesforce Admin 201 Certification.

  • Prior hands-on experience with CPQ.

  • Aptitude with sales technology and enablement tools.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.


 


Preferred Qualifications



  • Prior consulting experience.



Instacart provides highly market-competitive compensation and benefits in each location where our employees work. This role is remote and the base pay range for a successful candidate is dependent on their permanent work location. Please review our Flex First remote work policy here.
