About the position

The Warehouse Worker position at ADM in Hutchinson, KS involves receiving and storing materials, filling orders, shipping, and maintaining stock records in the warehouse. The role requires the ability to work overtime, including weekends and holidays, and on occasion different shifts. The position offers a \$2000 sign-on bonus and a pay rate of \$18.50 per hour. Employees will be part of a team that contributes to the production of 30% of the global food supply, handling at least 7 items per day made with ADM ingredients. Responsibilities

  • Follows established methods for systematic storage of materials, raw products and finished products to facilitate storage and retrieval.
  • Receives and stores materials, supplies and finished products.
  • Prepares product for shipping based on specifications on shipping orders.
  • Rotates stock on a first-in-first-out basis.
  • Completes paperwork neatly and accurately.
  • Makes general decisions on the manner in which product will be loaded in trucks.
  • Obtains a forklift license and safely and efficiently operates a forklift.
  • Drives forklift truck to move materials or product to and from storage and to loading dock.
  • Uses hand pulled hydraulic dolly to move small loads.
  • Moves boxes or bags of product by hand to load skids and trucks.
  • Assists with inventory management as well as reconciliation of Finished Goods and Raw Materials.
  • Learns and complies with all food safety, GMP, and sanitation policies and procedures.
  • Understands and adheres to ADM's Safety, Environmental Compliance and Food Quality goals.
  • Maintains and promotes a strong safety culture and follows all safety policies, procedures and regulations.
  • Identifies and communicates workplace hazards and corrects or seeks assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
  • Completes other assignments or projects as requested by any member of management.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
  • Ability to read and understand tables and formulas and deal with whole numbers.
  • Experience in Warehouse/Manufacturing and/or similar military environment (preferred).
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Strong safety aptitude.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Strong fundamental skills (math, reading, writing and verbal communication).
  • Motivated with a passion to learn.
