Kroger is seeking a Warehouse Team Member to support the efficient flow of merchandise in and out of our distribution centers. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving product, filling store orders, monitoring inventory, and ensuring product accuracy and quality. Role and Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Team Member, you will be responsible for supporting the effective operations of the warehouse and ensuring precise order processing:

  • Engage in collaborative tasks to assist in the smooth running of the distribution center.
  • Follow directed instructions to select and pack orders with accuracy and safety.
  • Prepare and package completed store orders for delivery.
  • Adhere to safety requirements when loading shipments onto trucks for transportation.
  • Receive deliveries from suppliers and prepare items for the outbound picking and packing procedures.
  • Replenish items in primary and secondary storage locations as necessary.
  • Extract, relocate, and unpack merchandise cases for replenishment tasks.
  • Handle daily paperwork, records, and documentation tasks accurately.
  • Study purchase orders to recognize catalogue listings, dimensions, color choices, and quantities of merchandise.
  • Retrieve items from containers and shelves, ensuring inventory levels are maintained correctly.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Having a high school diploma or GED is advantageous.
  • Competence in functioning as a cohesive unit in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Demonstrating precision in detail-oriented tasks alongside proficient organizational skills.
  • Aptitude for understanding and adhering to directives precisely.
  • Regular requirement for physical strength in lifting, moving, and managing merchandise.
  • Demonstrating a strong dedication to safety protocols and adherence to organizational policies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous exposure to the workings of distribution, warehouse, or logistics operations.
  • Expertise in inventory control systems and the procedure for selecting orders.
  • Bilingual or multilingual communication skills refer to the capability to communicate effectively in various languages.
