Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Assistant Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support the Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring efficient warehouse processes, and maintaining high standards of safety and productivity. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of warehouse management systems and materials management.

Duties

  • Inventory control, shipping, and receiving
  • Assemble fuel/lube equipment
  • Trouble shooting equipment out in the field
  • Filling drums
  • Pulling Orders
  • CDL/hazmat would be preferred but not required
  • Train, supervise, and mentor warehouse staff to enhance their skills and performance
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, freight movements, and other essential data using the warehouse management system

Skills

  • Previous experience as a warehouse supervisor or in a similar leadership role is preferred
  • Proficient in profit loss analysis with a focus on improving operational efficiency
  • Experience with warehouse management systems for tracking inventory and managing logistics
  • Familiarity with freight operations and regulations to ensure compliance during shipping processes
  • Excellent materials management skills for effective inventory control
