Warehouse Assistant

Busy and growing HVAC Mechanical Construction Company looking for motivated, responsible, and detail oriented Warehouse Clerk. Must have experience organizing and managing HVAC Mechanical construction inventory supplies, materials, equipment, and tools.

Salary: $18.00 to $30.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Job Hours: Monday to Friday 7am - 3:30pm [ 8 hrs Per Day, 30 min Lunch, Must be able to do Overtime -- as needed ]

Responsibilities:
Receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations
Work with field team leaders on materials and tools needed for various projects jobsites
Coordinate delivery schedule and prepare delivery logs
Prepare & help load and upload materials, equipment, tools, gang boxes, and other construction supplies.
Organize and Manage stock control, track project equipment storage, manage space and ensure efficient utilization
Regular inspection and checkup of warehouse to identify and address safety concerns
Regular inspection and checkup of company vehicles to ensure maintenance, compliance, identify and address safety concerns

Qualifications:
Must have OSHA 30-Hour Training For General Industry
Previous experience in Construction warehouse - Mechanical HVAC - Pipes & Ducts
Must be able to lift 50+ lbs on a regular basis
Must be comfortable operating pallet jacks and hi-lo / forklifts, etc.
Must have a safe & clean driving record
Must be comfortable driving delivery van or truck to all 5 boroughs (as needed)
Strong coordination, communication, and resource planning skills
Comfortable using computer, sending emails, know basic MS Office Word & Excel, and have strong willingness to learn.

Ability to speak Spanish is A PLUS but not required.
