Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results oriented Director of Product Marketing to join the global Product Marketing team to support one of our key product portfolios - Point of Sale (POS). As one of the fastest growing businesses in the company, Genius our point of sale business is primed for growth at scale

In this role you will be instrumental in creating and executing on the go-to-market strategy for Genius, our POS brand for the Small business segment and be a key driver of revenue growth in 2026 for the business unit.

The Director of Product Marketing will be responsible for scaling Genius product GTM efforts in the market, collaborating across the business working with product, marketing, commercialization, sales enablement and various other teams in executing product marketing strategies supporting awareness, demand and enablement in the market. This role will require a deep understanding of our product, markets, competitors and target audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor and develop a team of high performing product marketers

  • Product Positioning and messaging - develop differentiated positioning and messaging informed by thorough knowledge of the audience, competition and industry. Effectively communicate the value of our product targeted for specific audiences.

  • Product Launches - Responsible for orchestrating and leading product launches from crafting messaging, content and initiatives to tracking progress and measuring product usage success.

  • Go-to-market strategy - lead the development and execution of comprehensive product go-to-market plans to drive product adoption and customer engagement in the various customer segments and markets mapped to the ideal customer profile for this product.

  • Strategic Segmentation Frameworks: Develop and define segmentation models based on firmographics, technographics, and behavioral patterns

  • Opportunity Identification: Conduct white space analysis to identify and prioritize high growth opportunities and expansion opportunities.

  • Sales enablement - Responsible for creating sales enablement materials including and not limited to sales collaterals, demos, sales tools and more to effectively communicate the product capabilities and benefits. Supporting the buyer's journey for our inside and channel sales teams and enabling them to drive success is key to the role.

  • Marketing campaigns - work with our revenue and partner marketing teams to support campaign initiatives attracting new customers. Experience working with software applications and in-app marketing experience is preferred.

  • Be the voice of the customer - enable internal teams by being the internal voice of the customer.

  • Performance tracking and reporting - track and monitor performance including product win rates to show impact

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a prior product marketing role, with a deep understanding of product marketing principles, practices and methodologies.

  • Proven experience in new product introduction processes for a multinational company

  • Proven experience in developing and executing successful go to market plans

  • Strong project management and organizational skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross functional team

  • Analytical and problem solving skills

  • Deep understanding of the retail vertical

  • Strong financial literacy and market sizing skills

$160,000 - $170,000 base salary
