About the job Demand Generation Manager - Cybersecurity & AI (Contractor | Remote)

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE APPLYING

This opportunity is suited to experienced B2B demand generation professionals with a background in enterprise or regulated-industry technology.

Our client is an early-stage AI and cyber intelligence company building advanced solutions in cyber risk, compliance, and threat intelligence for financial services and other high-stakes sectors. The business is now seeking a Demand Generation Manager to design and execute its early demand engine and support commercial growth.

This is a hands-on, builder role for someone comfortable moving from strategy to execution in a lean environment.

About the Opportunity

This role is offered on a contractor / fractional basis and structured as a commercial engagement.

You will own end-to-end demand generation activity across defined customer segments, working closely with marketing and sales leadership to generate awareness, engagement, and qualified opportunities.

The focus is on building repeatable demand foundations rather than operating within a mature, fully resourced marketing function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Designing and executing a demand generation roadmap across priority sectors (e.g. financial services, fintech, regulated industries)
  • Planning and running multi-channel campaigns (LinkedIn, email, webinars, reports, communities)
  • Building and managing lead-nurture journeys for complex buying committees (CISO, risk, compliance, IT, innovation)
  • Collaborating with leadership to define ICPs, personas, and core messaging
  • Creating and repurposing cornerstone content into campaign-ready assets that support the sales cycle
  • Setting up lightweight marketing operations, including tracking, basic lead scoring, and funnel reporting
  • Experimenting with targeted, account-based motions for high-value prospects and partner ecosystems
  • Testing, iterating, and sharing insights across marketing, sales, and product teams to refine GTM approach
Who This Opportunity Is For

You are likely to be a strong fit if you:
  • Have 4+ years of experience in B2B SaaS demand generation or growth marketing
  • Have owned campaigns that generated measurable pipeline, not just leads
  • Are comfortable working hands-on with tools such as HubSpot (or similar), LinkedIn Ads, and basic analytics
  • Can quickly grasp and communicate complex concepts in cybersecurity, AI, or risk/compliance
  • Write clearly for both technical and executive audiences
  • Thrive in early-stage or scaling environments with limited structure and high autonomy
Nice to Have
  • Experience in marketing into regulated industries (banking, payments, insurance, healthcare, critical infrastructure)
  • Exposure to cybersecurity, threat intelligence, GRC, or risk quantification concepts
  • Experience launching or scaling demand functions in early-stage B2B technology companies
Role Structure & Commercial Terms

This opportunity is structured as a fractional / consulting engagement, with:
  • Outcome-linked commercial terms
  • Flexibility around hours and working patterns
  • Scope to expand responsibility and commercial alignment as the business grows

This opportunity is designed for individuals who are comfortable with early-stage venture environments, where initial participation is aligned with long-term growth and future scaling milestones.

Further details will be discussed with the shortlisted candidates.

Final Note

This opportunity suits individuals who enjoy building demand engines from first principles and are motivated by ownership, autonomy, and tangible commercial impact.
