Capital Budget Analyst

Overview

Are you looking for a new opportunity with a great institution? MCC is seeking an Analyst to support Metropolitan Community College\'s financial planning by managing the capital budget and Five-Year Capital Plan. The role involves collaborating with multiple departments to monitor capital projects, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide financial insights to stakeholders. The Analyst works with the MCC Foundation on donor-supported funding and contributes to a collaborative FP&A team culture focused on strategic financial planning and institutional sustainability.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the capital budget and Five-Year Capital Plan; monitor capital projects across departments; provide financial insights to stakeholders; ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments and the MCC Foundation on donor-supported funding.
  • Support a collaborative FP&A team culture focused on strategic financial planning and institutional sustainability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, data analytics, or related field.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in capital budgeting, multi-year financial planning, or capital project analysis using ERP and planning systems such as Workday Finance and Adaptive Planning.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and enterprise financial systems such as Workday Finance and Adaptive Planning.
  • Equivalent combination of education and/or work experience may be considered.

Compensation

The minimum salary for this position is $68,284 with annual increases.
