Farm To People is a fast-growing online grocery delivery service specializing in sustainably sourced, seasonal produce and artisanal foods. Our customers can subscribe to a curated Farm Box or shop à la carte. We deliver 5 days per week and are rapidly expanding in the NYC market. We have a vast and ever-changing array of fresh produce, meats, dairy, bakery, and pantry items.


JOB DESCRIPTION


Our warehouse functions as the bridge between the farms we source from and New Yorkers looking for ethically sourced groceries delivered. We are currently hiring associates for our Bushwick warehouse! You will help to pick and pack orders along a production line. Some people work in the refrigerated section, grocery section, produce section, and other areas. There is also prep work with our produce and some grocery items. There is also work related to the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse and production facilities.


Compensation
: Rates start at $17.50/hr. Full and part-time positions available.


Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):


  • Stocking shelves
  • Picking and prepping produce
  • Picking and packing orders


You also must:

  • Full time shift available Saturday to Wednesday from 5PM - 1AM.
  • Part time shift available Sunday -Thursday from 12pm - 6pm.
  • Be able to work on your feet for 8-10hrs
  • Be able to work in refrigeration with temperatures ranging between 36F-40F and occasionally work in our freezer for short periods of time.
  • Speak English or Spanish fluently
  • Able to lift and carry bags, boxes, and crates up to 49 lbs
