iDesign is looking for a qualified Video Production Manager to join our video services team.

What You’ll Do:

As the Video Production Manager, you will report to the Chief Marketing Officer and oversee the video services team. In this role, you will work collaboratively with various internal teams across the organization, including sales, creative, and design teams among others. You will also work directly with clients to understand their vision and requirements and confirm they are in line with contractual agreements.

The successful candidate will work remotely on a full-time basis. iDesign recognizes that a quality workforce is paramount to our success.

You will:

  • Identify client’s requirements based on contractual agreement from the sales team
  • Conduct knowledge transfers with internal teams to discuss requirements, deliverables, and project plan
  • Manage remote directors, video editors, and other teams remotely via Zoom or other video platforms
  • Conduct calls with clients/internal teams to discuss the project and their vision to ensure all aspects of the video shoot are clear
  • Identify and ensure all team members understand their responsibilities, timelines, and deadlines
  • Create a project plan, and identify risks and assumptions
  • Manage video production team proactively and develop production and editing schedules
  • Be in charge of proactive team staffing, working closely with Human Resources


What You Need To Get the Job Done:

  • Previous Video Production experience with an agency or within a creative department desired. Those with freelance or contract experience also considered with the right skill set
  • Strong interpersonal skills – we work with a variety of clients. Our history of embracing diversity is why our company stands out and why clients want us to produce their videos
  • Expert technical skills and experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Creative Suite, and other video editing software.
  • Experience building concepts, storyboards, video outlines, scripts, and other necessary pre-production documents
  • Aware of the latest software trends and plugins that enhance efficiency, creativity, and workflow.
  • The ability to communicate status updates to key stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Confident in assessing the needs of a project and determining what blend of assets are needed, from video to motion graphics, etc.
  • Extremely organized and able to independently manage a large and constantly growing library of assets.
  • A calm demeanor and a sense of humor when faced with challenging situations
  • An innate ability to establish collaborative and collegial relationships with clients and teammates.
  • Must be open to constructive criticism
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality work on time and, when possible, without sacrificing quality, under budget, while ensuring other team members meet deadlines too
