<p><strong>Role: UFT Tester</strong></p><p><strong>Location: Remote (EST Time Zone Only) (US & Canada)</strong></p><p><strong>Contract</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Mandatory Skills & Experience:</strong></p><p><strong><em>• 7 to 9 years in UI test automation.</em></strong></p><p><strong><em>• Experience with Excel add-ins.</em></strong></p><p><strong><em>• Proficient in UFT (Unified Functional Testing / OpenText Functional Testing).</em></strong></p><p><strong><em>• Strong expertise in VBScript.</em></strong></p><p><strong><em>• Experience with Excel object model and Office automation.</em></strong></p><p><strong><em>• Experience with SQL queries and database concepts.</em></strong></p><p><strong><em>• UFT as a tool and its application.</em></strong></p><p><strong><em>• Scripting/Coding skills.</em></strong></p><p><strong><em>• Analytical and problem-solving skills.</em></strong></p><p><strong><em>• Look strong for Communication skills.</em></strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>• Analyze business and technical requirements for the FDR Excel-based add-in.</p><p>• Develop and maintain automated UI test scripts using UFT.</p><p>• Write reusable, maintainable, and scalable code in VBScript and/or JavaScript.</p><p>• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines as required.</p><p>• Execute automated test suites and analyze test results.</p><p>• Identify, report, and track defects in collaboration with the development team.</p><p>• Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test summary reports.</p><p>• Provide recommendations for process improvements and automation best practices.</p><p>• Experience with SQL queries and database concepts</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Deliverables:</strong></p><p>• Robust Automation framework </p><p>• Automated test scripts for all key UI workflows in the Excel add-in.</p><p>• Test execution reports and defect logs.</p><p>• Test documentation including:</p><p>• Test plans</p><p>• Test case documentation</p><p>• Test summary reports</p><p>• Recommendations for further automation and process improvements.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Tools & Environment:</strong></p><p>• Unified Functional Testing One or Opentext Functional Testing 24.4</p><p>• Microsoft Excel (Office 365 version)</p><p>• Scripting Languages: VBScript, SQL</p><p>• Source Control: Bitbucket, Github</p><p>• CI/CD: [e.g., Bamboo, Github actions]</p><p>• Defect Tracking: [e.g., JIRA]</p>
