Technical Team Lead

Permanent Full Time<br><br>Reporting to the <em>Director, Technical Solutions</em>, the Technical Lead will oversee a team of approximately 8+ Technology professionals. This role is accountable for application delivery, release management, maintenance, and system health. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and the Director to define and execute a technology roadmap aligned with strategic objectives.<br><br>You will act as a key partner to internal clients, driving customer-centric initiatives and ensuring the delivery of high-value solutions. This role requires a holistic view of technology capabilities, considering the needs of employees, customers, consultants, advisors, and members.<br><br><strong>What you will do:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Lead the implementation, enhancement, and support of GRS applications across on-premises and cloud environments. </li><li>Collaborate with architects and business leaders to align technology strategies with business goals. </li><li>Prioritize and manage incoming work, ensuring alignment with business needs. </li><li>Monitor application health and security, evolving roadmaps accordingly. </li><li>Manage escalations and ensure timely resolution of incidents. </li><li>Maintain awareness of industry trends and best practices. </li><li>Inspire and empower team members, fostering a culture of engagement and accountability. </li><li>Provide clarity on roles, responsibilities, and priorities. </li><li>Support career development and performance management. </li><li>Contribute to workforce and financial planning. </li><li>Build trusted relationships with business partners to understand current and future priorities. </li><li>Collaborate with vendors to evaluate product roadmaps and recommend innovative solutions. </li><li>Promote cross-functional collaboration to achieve shared goals. </li><li>Develop flexible delivery frameworks and influence development standards. </li><li>Establish and maintain critical incident support structures. </li><li>Use KPIs and reporting to drive continuous improvement. <br><br></li></ul><strong>What wou will bring:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Experience effectively managing incident, change and problem management (ITIL). </li><li>Proven ability to lead through change and drive execution excellence. </li><li>Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences. </li><li>Demonstrated success in challenging the status quo and driving innovation. </li><li>Experience in Agile environments and complex, fast-paced organizations (Financial Services experience an asset). </li><li>Strategic mindset with hands-on technical capabilities. </li><li>Post-secondary education in business, computer science, or equivalent experience. </li><li>Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt quickly to evolving priorities. </li><li>Results-oriented with a bias for action and a commitment to continuous improvement. <br><br></li></ul>The base salary for this position is between <strong>$63,500 </strong><strong>- $117,400 </strong>annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
