Subway Shift Leader

Choose Greatness!! We are looking for an individual with a fantastic personality who shows lots of “VIBE” whose high energy and sense of urgency is contagious. This role will be responsible for ensure all store standards relating to food production and customer service are adhered to on shift. This role will also assist in ensuring all menu builds, cash control and safety procedures are adhered to while on shift. The Shift Leader will provide outstanding customer service while complying with all company standards, ensure all assistance is provided quickly and proficiently to maintain company culture. This has the potential to be a development role to grow to the next level. Help support the management team in driving the team to be guest focused by focusing on the following behaviors: Be Fun. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Educate guests on Brand Promise products and flavors

  • Ensure team members on shift maintain proper hygiene and sanitation standards
  • Ensure all County/City and State Health regulations are met and followed
  • Inventory Control
  • Help maintain proper inventory
  • Ensure all food builds are made correctly and minimizes waste and shrink
  • Keep inventory storage areas Neat Clean and Organized
  • Maintain store cleanliness
  • Ensure dining room; BOH; Kitchen and FOH is clean and safe
  • Ensure all guest point of view areas are clean and safe
  • Keep bathroom area clean
  • Educate and role model store cleanliness standards and ensure they are met on an ongoing basis
  • BOH and (POS) Responsibilities
  • Understand daily Point of Sale responsibilities; is responsible for cash management and safe security on shift

  • Understand necessary Back office reports and daily pulls
  • Manage staffing and sales on shift to meet store goals
  • Working understanding of currencies accepted
  • Ensure team is fun and friendly attitude during transactions
  • Understand and explain all current promotions to guests
  • Educate employees on in-store promotions and other marketing initiatives

  • Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time without breaks
  • Ability to walk, stand, move, traverse in quick bursts
  • Use of hands and fingers to handle small tools, equipment, and money
  • Ability to stoop, bend, stretch, reach, reach above arms, stack, lift and carry objects and inventory weighing up to 20 pounds
  • Use of finger dexterity to use POS and KPS systems, as well as completing administrative work including writing, typing and filing.
  • Ability to read, hear, understand, and respond to requests and to communicate information clearly using the English language
  • Exposure to cleaning chemicals and solvents
