Within GFT, Finance IT operates as a global technology delivery function with a workforce of over 900 professionals worldwide. This team is responsible for managing and maintaining more than 100 production applications that provide critical support to RBC’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) group.</p><p></p><p>The Global Finance ERP Lead within Finance IT will own the successful implementation of a cloud-based, enterprise-wide Finance ERP platform. Acting as the primary bridge between enterprise technology leadership, business stakeholders, and delivery squads, this role will drive the end-to-end implementation. The Global ERP Lead will ensure consistent design and configuration, oversee technical integration and performance, and align stakeholders across technology, finance, and operations.</p><p></p><p><b>What will you do?</b></p><p></p><p><b>Platform Execution</b></p><ul><li><p>Lead the ERP platform implementation across all execution workstreams</p></li><li><p>Drive the enterprise implementation, ensuring adherence to the global design template and leveraging lessons learned to accelerate adoption.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with the Program Director to establish delivery standards, methodologies, and KPIs to ensure consistent, high-quality outcomes across the program.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Technical and Functional Leadership</b></p><ul><li><p>Provide expert oversight for platform integration, technical delivery, data integration, data migration, and custom development.</p></li><li><p>Act as the lead subject matter expert for the functional solution, ensuring the design meets all requirements for event-based accounting, subledger, and GL processes.</p></li><li><p>Drive the strategy for complex technical areas, including integrations with enterprise GL systems, data migration, and custom development.</p></li><li><p>Enforce ERP governance to uphold the integrity of the global template design across all entity rollouts.</p></li><li><p>Ensure the final ERP solution is scalable and performant to meet the demands of the enterprise</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Leadership and Strategy</b></p><ul><li><p>Lead and manage a multi-disciplinary team to achieve program objectives, fostering accountability and collaboration. </p></li><li><p>Act as the primary delivery partner to program leadership, aligning with the Program Director and ERP Architect. </p></li><li><p>Engage senior stakeholders to align on priorities, strategic trade-offs, and business strategies. </p></li><li><p>Ensure deliverables meet business outcomes and enable value creation. </p></li><li><p>Provide technology thought leadership to address business and regulatory demands. </p></li><li><p>Manage program deliverables, scope, competing priorities, and requirements changes effectively. </p></li><li><p>Promote collaboration across functional teams to develop enterprise-wide solutions. </p></li><li><p>Resolve complex issues and ensure adherence to Enterprise Architecture Governance. </p></li><li><p>Oversee program financials with strong governance, reporting, and timely communication. </p></li><li><p>Thrive in dynamic environments, reinforce targeted behaviors that contribute to RBC’s goals.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>What do you need to succeed?</b></p><p><b>Must-have</b></p><ul><li><p>15+ years of ERP implementation experience, leading large-scale, multi-entity ERP rollouts in global financial institutions, especially Tier-1 banks. </p></li><li><p>Expertise in ERP Subledger, General Ledger, event-based accounting processes, and SaaS ERP platforms (Oracle, SAP, Workday, etc.), including integration with enterprise GL systems. </p></li><li><p>Proven success in ERP governance, global template design, and entity rollouts, with hands-on leadership in program workstreams (design, configuration, integration, reporting, data migration). </p></li><li><p>Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, influencing senior executives and building relationships with diverse stakeholders. </p></li><li><p>Experience delivering cloud-based ERP solutions from design to production support, with deep knowledge of financial accounting principles and event-based accounting systems. </p></li><li><p>Demonstrated ability to lead geographically dispersed teams of consultants, developers, and integration specialists in global financial services environments. </p></li><li><p>Knowledge of architecture aspects (business, data, cyber security), SDLC lifecycle, Agile methodologies, and prior experience working with global/distributed teams. </p></li><li><p>Holds undergraduate and/or post-graduate degree (preferably in Business or Finance)</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Nice-to have</b></p><ul><li><p>Experience or
