You’ll be part of a collaborative QA team driving product excellence through a mix of manual and automated testing, with opportunities to work on intelligent automation initiatives and process improvements. </p><p><br></p><p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p><ul><li>Design and execute test plans and cases for functional, regression, and integration testing.</li><li>Develop and maintain <strong>Python-based automation scripts</strong> for UI and functional testing.</li><li>Log, track, and verify defects using <strong>Azure DevOps</strong> while collaborating with developers and PMs.</li><li>Participate in release readiness reviews and continuous QA process improvement.</li><li>Stay current on testing methodologies and automation trends.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>What You Bring</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s in <strong>Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field</strong>, <em>or equivalent practical experience</em>.</li><li><strong>2+ years of experience</strong> in software testing (desktop or engineering software preferred).</li><li>Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and automation principles.</li><li>Proficiency with <strong>Python</strong>, <strong>Azure DevOps</strong>, and <strong>Git</strong>.</li><li>Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. </li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Nice to Have</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with <strong>desktop UI automation</strong> or intelligent automation frameworks.</li><li>Familiarity with <strong>Agile/Scrum</strong> and <strong>CI/CD</strong> practices.</li><li>Interest or background in <strong>geotechnical or engineering software</strong>.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Life at Rocscience</strong> </p><p>· Our office is in downtown Toronto, Canada, a vibrant and diverse city and one of the hottest technology hubs in the world. </p><p>· We have a dedicated team of 80 employees, over half of whom hold advanced degrees in engineering. </p><p> </p><p><strong>Additional Requirements</strong> </p><p>· Applicants must be authorized to work in Canada for any employer now and in the future.
