Senior Project Manager - Infrastructure

Are you a seasoned IT Project Manager ready to lead high-impact, strategic initiatives for a major Canadian financial institution? We are looking for five Senior IT Project Managers to pilot a variety of mission-critical projects. You will be responsible for driving key transformations in areas such as infrastructure modernization, cybersecurity, cloud migration, and the integration of new business solutions. These are long-term contract roles, ranging from 6 to 18 months, offered on a fully remote basis for candidates located anywhere within Canada. Occasional travel may be required as needed.

Responsibilities
Manage the complete lifecycle of complex, high-visibility IT projects, from initiation to closure.

Coordinate and communicate effectively with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure project alignment and success.

Proactively identify, analyze, and manage project risks and issues, developing and implementing mitigation plans.

Adapt your delivery approach to various project contexts, including Agile, Lean-Agile, and traditional frameworks.

Ensure transparent and regular communication of project status, performance, and key metrics to all relevant parties.

Uphold and promote the standards and best practices established by the IT Project Portfolio Management Office (APMO).

Qualifications
A minimum of 8 years of experience in IT project management, with a proven track record of managing projects with multiple stakeholders.

Demonstrated leadership abilities, strong political acumen, and excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Outstanding analytical skills and a critical, solution-oriented mindset.

Proficiency with modern project planning and tracking tools.

Excellent written and oral proficiency in both French and English is mandatory.
**Our client operates in Canada. The company takes all reasonable steps to limit the number of positions in Quebec that require knowledge of a language other than French, and only requires it when necessary and its existing bilingual employees are unable to perform these duties.

Based on an assessment conducted by our client, it has been determined that this position requires candidates to be fluent in English (both spoken and written). In particular, this position will require the employee to:

Interact with centralized internal departments (e.g., Operations / HR / Finance / Legal / Contracts / Sales) that support the organization in Canada and that do not speak French.**

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

Asset: Experience with Agile methodologies is a strong asset.
