Retail Advisor (Part-Time)

As a Retail Advisor at our store, you’ll play a key role in creating a warm and welcoming shopping experience for families. We’re looking for someone who loves working with both parents and kids, and who takes pride in maintaining a beautiful store.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Exceptional Customer Service
  • Greet and assist customers with warmth and enthusiasm
  • Understand and anticipate customer needs, offering thoughtful recommendations
  • Engage children positively to create a fun shopping experience
  • Follow up on customer enquiries or special requests to build lasting relationships

Maintain a Clean, Organised, and Inviting Store

  • Keep the selling floor tidy and welcoming throughout the day
  • Replenish merchandise efficiently and return misplaced items promptly
  • Wipe down shelves and maintain a hygienic play and display space

Manage Stock and Visual Merchandising

  • Organise and tidy up stock in the backroom
  • Process incoming inventory and assist with stock replenishment
  • Support the team in arranging attractive product displays

Support Sales Operations

  • Wrap and pack purchases with care, especially gifts
  • Handle cashiering duties accurately and responsibly
  • Assist with ordering and receiving new stock

KPIs include:

  • Customer Service Excellence
  • Customer compliments / positive mentions
  • Achievement of daily and monthly sales targets
  • Demonstrates strong product knowledge, especially for shoe sizing and toy recommendations
  • Smooth overall store maintenance and operation
  • Selling floor tidy checks: 100% completion at mid- and end-of-shift
  • Display maintenance: All items in place during visual walk-throughs
  • Accurate stock processing
  • Backroom organisation
  • Cash register accuracy
  • Shift handovers: Clear and complete notes or verbal updates to next team member

Requirements:

  • Minimum GCE ‘N’ Level
  • Must have initiative and be enthusiastic, patient and courteous
  • Minimum weekly commitment: Two days a week, of which one day must be a weekend. Must be available to work on public holidays.
  • Minimum contract commitment: 6 months

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $11.50 - $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 18 per week
