Product Manager, Retail POS Mobile App (contract)

Your Moneris Career - The Opportunity Join Moneris as a Product Manager for Moneris Go Retail Point of Sale (POS) and lead the way in empowering Canadian small and medium retailers through innovative technology. The product operates across multiple channels, and you will lead the mobile app experience as part of the Retail POS team. Location: You will be based in our Toronto or Montreal office, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility. Reporting Relationship: You will report to the Director of Product. Your Moneris Career - What you'll do Lead the mobile app roadmap within the broader retail product roadmap with a focus on setting OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) that align with Moneris' strategic mission, in partnership with the Director of Product and Senior Product Manager. Collaborate with designers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to concept, prototype, build, ship, measure, and refine product features. Champion the customer's voice by working with sales and customer support, ensuring insights shape our product strategy. Manage product lifecycle, from requirement gathering and new feature introduction to go-to-market strategy and positioning. Oversee product success by setting performance metrics, tracking results, and making data-driven adjustments to achieve goals. Your Moneris Career - What you bring 5+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years in Product Management: Expertise in building and scaling products. Mobile app experience (must have): Direct experience developing mobile applications for iOS or Android. SaaS or POS experience (required): Direct experience in SaaS products or hands-on exposure to POS environments, including front-line or operational retail experience. SMB retail understanding: Familiarity with how small and medium retailers operate, including typical workflows, constraints, and decision-making patterns. Technical understanding of software development lifecycle: Ability to work with engineering teams and translate complex requirements into clear, actionable work. Experience in scrum/Agile methodologies: Skilled in navigating product development processes and collaborating in agile environments. End-to-end design thinking: Ability to empathize with users and create experiences that drive engagement and satisfaction. Entrepreneurial mindset: Comfortable with ambiguity and can lead cross-functional stakeholders within a matrixed organization. Education: University degree or equivalent experience.
