<p><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p><br></p><p>KT Partners LLP is seeking an experienced Tax Principal to join our expanding firm, offering a significant <strong>opportunity for a qualified candidate to advance to partnership within two years.</strong></p><p><br></p><p>The role involves leading complex tax engagements and spearheading strategic planning for an expanding portfolio of private-enterprise and middle-market clients. Ideal candidates will excel in addressing sophisticated tax challenges, mentoring developing professionals, and fostering client growth. This position provides a direct pathway to a high-impact leadership role and partnership.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li><strong>Strategic Tax Planning:</strong> Developing and implementing tax strategies for clients or the organization, including tax optimization, reorganization, and compliance measures. Lead all Canadian tax engagements for corporations, partnerships, individuals, and trusts. Advanced tax strategies; corporate reorganizations, estate and succession planning, and Canadian tax-provision support.</li><li><strong>Team Leadership:</strong> Supervising and mentoring a team of tax professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management.</li><li><strong>Tax Research and Interpretation:</strong> Staying current on changes in tax law and regulations, conducting tax research, and interpreting complex tax issues.</li><li><strong>Client Relationship Management:</strong> Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their tax needs, and providing high-quality tax advice.</li><li><strong>Process Improvement:</strong> Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the tax function.
