Key Responsibilities

  • Phlebotomy: Perform blood draws for patient procedures, ensuring patient comfort and following all safety protocols.
  • Assist with Cosmetic Treatments: Support our dermatologists during Botox and dermal filler procedures, helping to ensure a smooth and safe patient experience.
  • Patient Prep & Documentation: Prepare patient charts and set up injectables and necessary supplies prior to treatments.
  • Skincare & Procedure Sales: Educate patients on skincare products and available cosmetic procedures, and assist with product recommendations and sales.
  • Scribing: Document physician notes and treatment details during consultations and procedures to maintain accurate medical records.
  • Specimen Processing: Handle and process blood specimens (e.g., for PRP treatments) and other lab samples with care and accuracy.
  • Front Desk Support: Provide occasional front desk assistance, including patient check-in, scheduling appointments, and answering inquiries as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Phlebotomy Skills: Hands-on experience with blood draws (phlebotomy certification preferred).
  • EMR Proficiency: Proficient with Electronic Medical Record systems and general computer skills.
  • Aesthetics Knowledge: Familiarity with cosmetic dermatology treatments (e.g., Botox, fillers, lasers) and medical-grade skincare products.
  • Excellent Communication: Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, professional demeanour with patients and teammates.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to various tasks as needed.
  • Detail-Oriented: Organized and attentive to detail for accurate charting, scribing, and specimen labeling.
