Schedule:

  • Evening: 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM EST, or
  • Morning: 7:00 AM – 9:30 AM EST(Flexible scheduling within these time blocks)

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced U.S. high school teachers to deliver live online instruction through Zoom. Teachers will support students enrolled in U.S. online high school courses using Apex Learning or other comparable Learning Management Systems (LMS).

This is a flexible, remote teaching opportunity ideal for educators who enjoy working with motivated students in a virtual learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver live, synchronous online instruction via Zoom to high school students
  • Teach U.S. high school courses aligned with Apex Learning or similar LMS platforms
  • Support students with coursework, assignments, assessments, and exam preparation
  • Track student progress and provide academic feedback
  • Communicate professionally with academic coordinators as needed
  • Help students build strong academic foundations for university admissions

Subjects in Demand (but not limited to)

  • Mathematics (Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, Calculus)
  • Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics)
  • English / English Language Arts
  • Social Studies / History
  • Other U.S. high school subjects

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant subject area
  • Teaching experience in U.S. high school curriculum (required)
  • Familiarity with Apex Learning or other online LMS platforms (preferred)
  • Prior online teaching or tutoring experience (strongly preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills and professionalism
  • Reliable internet connection and a quiet teaching environment

State teaching certification is preferred but not required.
