Marketing and Enrollment Director

About the Role

CMU College of Makeup Art & Design is seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing & Enrollment Director to lead our marketing, student recruitment, and enrollment strategies. This role plays a key part in driving brand visibility, generating qualified leads, and ensuring strong enrollment results for both domestic and international programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement annual marketing, communications, and recruitment strategies aligned with enrollment goals.
  • Oversee all digital marketing activities, including social media, paid ads, SEO/SEM, website content, email campaigns, and analytics.
  • Manage the full enrollment pipeline—lead generation, applicant follow-up, conversions, and enrollment reporting.
  • Lead domestic and international recruitment initiatives, including high school visits, education fairs, agent partnerships, and outreach events.
  • Supervise and support the Marketing, Enrollment, and Recruitment teams; provide coaching, training, and performance management.
  • Collaborate with Admissions, Academic Departments, and Career Services to ensure a seamless student experience and consistent program messaging.
  • Track KPIs, analyze marketing performance, and provide monthly reporting to senior leadership.
  • Manage marketing budgets, external vendors, designers, photographers, and media partners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (Master's an asset).
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in marketing, enrollment management, or student recruitment—preferably in post-secondary or private education.
  • Proven experience leading teams and managing integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing tools, CRM systems, and data analytics.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organized, strategic, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Work Conditions

  • Full-time, on-site role at our Toronto campus.
  • Occasional evenings and weekends for events.
  • Some domestic and international travel may be required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $79,846.28-$125,964.50 per year
