They play crucial role in driving growth and selling enterprise software solutions to large organizations and lead world-class, high-performing sales teams. We are seeking folks who have measurable experience of building and improving sales territories, building teams and have a strong management background.<br><br><strong>In This Role, You Will<br><br></strong><ul><li>Consistently deliver revenue targets – ensuring company revenue goals, and objectives are achieved quarter over quarter and year over year.</li><li>Accurately forecast quarterly, and annual revenue numbers for assigned region, dedication to the number, and to deadlines.</li><li>Direct sales activities within the assigned area, set expectations, provide mentorship, prioritize efforts, hold the team accountable for building pipeline and executing each phase of the sales cycle.</li><li>Coach sales team to uncover customer needs, develop champions, present specific use cases, demonstrate the differentiated value of Splunk products and services and negotiate favorable pricing and terms by selling value and return on investment.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Minimum Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>3+ years experience building and leading front-line sales teams; ability to grow and scale upward with the company; second-line management experience a plus.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>8+ years of direct and channel enterprise software selling experience to large enterprises is required.</li><li>Subscription, SaaS, or Cloud software experience working with enterprise accounts.</li><li>Excellent leadership and influencing skills; ability to build strong business partnerships both outside, and within the organization.</li><li>Skilled at business planning and diligent at measuring and communicating progress towards the plan, identifying roadblocks, and coming up with appropriate solutions.</li><li>Success adapting in fast-growing and changing environments.</li><li>Track record of consistently meeting/exceeding sales quotas personally and as a sales leader.</li><li>Relevant software proven experience in any of the following: IT systems, enterprise or infrastructure management, application development and management, DevOps, security, business applications, and/or analytics. Subscription, SaaS, or Cloud software experience is preferred.</li><li>Highly professional persona and polished demeanor. The full salary range for certain locations is listed below. For Quota-based Incentive Pay, Cisco Typically Pays As Follows<br><br><ul><li>.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;</li><li>1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;</li><li>1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and</li><li>Once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.<br><br></li></ul>For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay 0% up to 125% of target.
