Santoni's Marketplace & Catering is seeking Full & Part-time experienced Line/Grill/Prep Cooks & Deli Associates who are passionate about food, passionate about growing and becoming part of a talented team. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

· Responsible for functioning efficiently and effectively in the kitchen (hot, cold, grill, etc.),

· Produces all items for 'Meals to Go' case while maintaining a full and attractive display,

· Produces foods for deli and catering according to daily prep sheets,

· Ensures economical food production and minimizes waste through proper cutting techniques and utilization of excess product,

· Assisting in other duties, as assigned.

· Demonstrates ability to utilize kitchen equipment according to departmental protocol,

· Must demonstrate the ability to work with a team and to motivate others,

· Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the department including nights, weekends and holidays as required.

Education& Experience:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or its equivalent is required; 1-2 years in food service production is preferred.
  • Certification in sanitation and safe food handling practices is desirable.
