This position requires about 50% of the time working in a warehouse setting and 50% in an office environment.<br><br><strong>Location:</strong> 127A Aviva Park Drive, Vaughan, ON.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies or errors promptly. </li><li>Update and maintain accurate inventory data in inventory management systems. </li><li>Prepare in advance to allocate space in the warehouse for the incoming shipments. </li><li>Coordinate with purchasing team concerning defective and damage materials upon their receipt from the suppliers. </li><li>Analyze inventory data to identify trends, slow-moving items, and opportunities for optimization. </li><li>Generate inventory reports to restock primary bin locations. </li><li>Implement and maintain inventory control policies and procedures. </li><li>Support audits and compliance checks related to inventory. </li><li>Supervise and train inventory staff to ensure accurate and efficient inventory management. </li><li>Assist in cycle counting and year-end stock audits. </li><li>Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, following safety and compliance standards<br><br></li></ul><strong>Skills and Qualifications</strong>:<br><br><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred. </li><li>At least 5 years of experience in an inventory management or related role, with a proven track record of achieving performance targets. </li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on achieving results and meeting deadlines. </li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other departments. </li><li>Stock picker license is an asset. </li><li>Strong knowledge of inventory management systems. </li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. </li><li>High attention to detail and accuracy. </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel specially in VLOOKUP and Pivot table. </li><li>Ability to work independently and in a team environment. </li><li>Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously<br><br></li></ul><strong>Benefits:<br><br></strong>Casual dress code.<br><br>Dental care.<br><br>Extended health care.<br><br><strong>Job Type:</strong> Full time, Permanent<br><br><strong>Work Location:</strong> In person<br><br><strong>Work Environment:</strong> Office and warehouse settings.
