As a Pega Lead Software Engineer, you will lead complex technology initiatives, driving the design, development, and implementation of Pega solutions. This role is critical to achieving our strategic goals and delivering exceptional service to our clients. Key Responsibilities Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of Pega solutions to support strategic business objectives. Collaborate with key stakeholders, including technical experts and senior management, to resolve complex technical challenges. Develop and implement company-wide best practices for engineering large-scale technology solutions. Oversee and mentor team members, providing guidance and fostering a culture of continuous learning. Analyze and evaluate technology solutions, providing recommendations to meet business needs. Work in an Agile/Kanban environment to ensure efficient project delivery. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. 3+ years of software engineering experience, demonstrated through work experience, training, or military service. 3+ years of experience in Pega development, specifically with version 8.x. Certified Pega Senior System Architect (CSSA) with 2+ years of hands-on experience. Proficiency in Agile development methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly grasp complex business issues and provide solutions. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Pega Lead System Architect (LSA) certification. Experience with distributed teams and tools such as Splunk, Kafka, and SQL. Background in other programming languages, particularly Java. Experience with enterprise-level technical documentation, including impact analysis and detailed design.
