Learn more at https://www.marsunited.com/.<br><br><strong>Overview<br><br></strong>Mars United is seeking a talented Graphic Designer with a focus on retail/POS print and production design to provide conceptual and executional design support across multiple client accounts.<br><br>This role is ideal for someone who has a keen eye for detail and thrives in creating visually compelling layouts for print media while ensuring accuracy and consistency throughout the production process.<br><br><strong>PLEASE NOTE: This is a hybrid role based out of our Toronto office and will require onsite engagement an average of 3 days/week. All candidates must be local to Toronto metro and willing to commit to a hybrid schedule.<br><br></strong><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Concept and design layouts, brochures, flyers, posters, packaging, POS materials, and other print and retail marketing collateral, ensuring designs align with brand guidelines and project objectives.</li><li>Prepare and optimize files for print production, including color correction, bleed setup, and prepress checks, collaborating with vendors and printers to ensure quality and timely delivery.</li><li>Extend physical design concepts and materials into the digital space to create assets such as banners and social assets, ensuring consistency and brand alignment across channels. </li><li>Maintain visual standards across all materials and update and refine existing templates and assets as needed.</li><li>Partner closely with marketing, product, and creative teams to deliver high-quality designs while managing multiple concurrent projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>2+ years of prior professional visual/graphic design experience, preferably in an advertising agency or consultancy</li><li>University degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field; experience may be substituted</li><li>Experience designing physical POS and marketing assets for use in the retail environment</li><li>Experience designing digital marketing assets including banner ads, social media assets, web graphics, etc.</li><li>Strong sense of visual storytelling and ability to bring marketing ideas to life</li><li>Ability to contribute to concept development and ideation alongside with creative team and account counterparts</li><li>Understanding of consumer behavior and how design impacts engagement</li><li>Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams</li><li>Solid understanding of layout, typography, color theory and composition</li><li>Strong understanding of production process for print and digital deliverables</li><li>Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills</li><li>Ability to manage projects through all stages: creative ideation, client presentation and production</li><li>Understanding of motion graphics and working knowledge of Adobe After Effects</li><li>Ability to leverage AI powered design tools like Adobe Firefly, Photoshop generative fill to enhance concept development ideation and production efficiency</li><li>Ability to create designs that align with brand and retailer</li><li>Understanding of path to purchase and how design influences each stage of the shopper journey</li><li>AE skills, since there will be a need to produce simple animations in addition to static designs.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Additional Information<br><br></strong>Our Publicis Groupe motto “Viva La Différence” means we’re better together, and we believe that our differences make us stronger. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
