Position Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our hotel team. As a Front Desk Agent, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a pleasant and memorable stay. The ideal candidate will be welcoming, detailed-oriented, and able to handle various tasks with poise and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Efficiently manage the check-in and check-out process for guests.
- Handle guest reservations, both in person and over the phone, with accuracy and a high level of service.
- Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly, providing exceptional service to enhance the guest experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring all materials are readily available for guest information.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to address any room or facility issues reported by guests.
- Process guest payments and generate accurate billing statements.
- Stay informed about hotel amenities, local attractions, and events to offer guests recommendations and assistance in planning their stay.
- Adhere to all safety, security, and hotel policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • - High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality management is a plus.
  • - Previous experience in a hotel or customer service role is preferred but not required.
  • - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • - Ability to handle stressful situations with a calm and positive attitude.
  • - Proficient in using hotel management software (Fosse- Marriott) and other computer applications.
  • - Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
