Facilitate learning on a variety of subjects including complex technical acumen, customer service skills and USAA culture. Support facilitation of programs that foster employee growth. Facilitated learning can take place in person or via virtual environment.</span></p><p></p><p>We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be <b>in the office 4 days per week. </b>This position can be based in one of the following locations: <b>Tampa, FL or Plano, TX</b>.</p><p></p><p>Relocation assistance is <b>not</b> available for this position.</p><p></p><p><b>What youll do:</b></p><ul><li><p>Facilitates learning discussions, learning activities, coaching, and small group interactions.</p></li><li><p>Facilitates and instructs employees in multiple learning environments including classrooms, labs, and virtual capabilities.</p></li><li><p>Researches learner performance problems, determines underlying causes and provides feedback to improve performance.</p></li><li><p>Collaborates with peers, customers, management and Instructional Design and Development on business initiatives, development of curriculum and learning solutions.</p></li><li><p>Maintains business and learning skills/acumen through skills update and professional development.</p></li><li><p>Identifies needed course maintenance, makes recommendations for process improvements and completes course revisions as appropriate.</p></li><li><p>Maintains accountability for performance results and learning solution effectiveness.</p></li><li><p>May play role of Producer for virtual courses as a learning opportunity for courses not yet fully qualified to facilitate.</p></li><li><p>May provide support, including coordinating logistics, for other Facilitators.</p></li><li><p>Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>What you have:</b></p><ul><li><p><span>Bachelor’s degree OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree.</span></p></li><li><p>4 years facilitator/instructional experience to include business relevant training, teaching, coaching, training design, development, facilitation and/or learning deployment; or progressive operational experience with a concentration on teaching/training/coaching.</p></li><li><p>Excellent written and oral communication skills.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams, facilitate training, and provide one-on-one coaching.</p></li><li><p>Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of learning theories, adult learning principles and instructional design model.</p></li><li><p>Experience with Virtual Technology and ability to deliver training remotely.</p></li><li><p>Current FINRA Series 7 and/or attainment within 90 days of job entry.</p></li><li><p>Current Life/Health License and/or attainment within 90 days of job entry.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>What sets you apart:</b></p><ul><li><p>Current FINRA Series 7.</p></li><li><p>Current FINRA Series 63 and/or attainment within 90 days of job entry.</p></li><li><p>Current Life/Health license.</p></li><li><p>3+ years of facilitation experience in financial services, insurance, or related industries.</p></li><li><p><b>Sales & Service Acumen:</b> Experience in consultative sales and delivering exceptional customer service in a regulated environment.</p></li><li><p><b>Life Insurance & Financial Services Knowledge:</b> Understanding of life insurance products, annuities, and related concepts to connect training to business outcomes.</p></li><li><p><b>Facilitation Expertise:</b> Proven ability to deliver engaging, interactive classroom and virtual sessions using adult learning principles.</p></li><li><p><b>Technology Proficiency:</b> Skilled in virtual training platforms (WebEx, Zoom, MS Teams) and Learning Management Systems (LMS).</p></li><li><p><b>Coaching & Feedback Skills:</b> Ability to assess learner performance and provide actionable feedback to improve results.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Compensation range: </b>The salary range for this position is: $69,920 - $133,620.</p><p></p><p><b>USAA does not provide visa sponsorship for this role. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position.
