Cyber Security Analyst - Offensive Security:

On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Cyber Security Analyst - Offensive Security for a 12 month contract role.

This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client's Toronto office.

Cyber Security Analyst - Offensive Security - Job Description:
The project involves providing additional support as it grows, focusing on validating security and maturing the existing platform. The role requires performing validation checks and ensuring the security measures are effective year after year.

Cyber Security Analyst - Offensive Security - Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a controls assurance strategy structured around the MITRE ATT&CK framework
  • Create realistic attack scenarios based on attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)
  • Collaboratively identify key security controls and monitor gaps
  • Stay current with industry best practices and emerging threats
  • Generate comprehensive reports detailing simulation findings
  • Collaborate with other cybersecurity team members to analyze simulated attack results
  • Continuously improve the breach and attack simulation process
  • Make recommendations for security posture improvements
  • Work with senior analysts to develop relevant BAS dashboards
  • Leverage APIs and automation techniques to integrate BAS with other security tools
Cyber Security Analyst - Offensive Security - Mandatory Skills:


  • 5+ years of experience in cyber security, focusing on breach and attack simulation
  • Advanced knowledge of security incident and event management, log analysis, network traffic analysis, malware investigation, and remediation
  • Experience with cloud infrastructures such as AWS, G Suite, Office 365, and Azure
  • Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, and other relevant languages
  • Familiarity with Breach and Attack Simulation (BAS) solutions and MITRE ATT&CK framework
  • Offensive security skills such as penetration testing or vulnerability assessment
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
