Copywriter - Rewards and Financial Communications - Toronto

Are you a talented copywriter with a knack for making loyalty programs and financial concepts easy to understand and exciting? Cella by Randstad Digital is seeking a dedicated Contract Copywriter to join the team of one of our valued clients. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your expertise to a high-visibility brand's rewards program, creating compelling content that drives customer engagement and trust.

As a Contract Copywriter, you will play a crucial role on the client's creative copy and content team. You will be responsible for developing clear, engaging, and brand-aligned copy for various rewards campaigns across digital channels. The ideal candidate has experience writing for loyalty programs and/or financial services, and can adeptly translate complex information into simple, customer-focused language. This is a chance to work with a collaborative team and contribute directly to a major consumer rewards initiative.

Location: Remote (with one day per month required in their Toronto office for meetings).

Contract Duration: 6 months to start, with potential for extension.

Hours: Flexing up to 37.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities
Craft engaging, on-brand copy for a variety of loyalty campaigns, including but not limited to email, web content, social media messaging, and in-app communications.

Simplify complex financial and customer loyalty terminology and concepts into clear, accessible, and friendly copy for the target audience.

Partner closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, design, legal) to ensure all messaging is consistent across platforms and supports overall campaign objectives.

Ensure all communications adhere to necessary legal and regulatory guidelines, particularly those related to financial and loyalty program disclosures.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Style and Tone of Voice guides for the rewards program.

Manage multiple writing assignments simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail in a deadline-driven setting.

Qualifications
Demonstrated professional writing experience, with a specific focus on rewards and loyalty programs or similar high-volume consumer programs. A portfolio showing relevant work is required.

A background in writing for financial institutions or services, coupled with an understanding of compliance and regulatory communication requirements.

Exceptional ability to take technical or dense jargon and transform it into clear, persuasive, and engaging customer copy.

Proven ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced digital environment.

Familiarity with various digital marketing channels, including Web, Email, and Point-of-Purchase (POP) materials.
