Position Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial Glazier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with installation and fabrication of commercial glazing systems, including hurricane impact systems and interior office partitions. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively on construction sites while following safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and fabricate various hurricane impact-rated systems such as storefronts and curtain walls
  • Install interior glazing systems, including office fronts, glass partitions, and demountable walls
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools to perform installations and assemblies
  • Interpret and work from blueprints and technical schematics
  • Safely lift and maneuver large glass panels and materials as needed
  • Apply commercial adhesives and caulking with precision and quality
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant job site at all times
  • Collaborate with team members and site supervisors to meet project deadlines

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial glazing
  • Strong understanding of construction site protocols and safety regulations
  • Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding of glazing system layouts
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and work on your feet for extended periods
  • Experience with glass installation and fabrication in a commercial setting
  • Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment
  • Knowledge of fabrication processes in a shop environment is a plus
