DescriptionCome join the IT Annual Enrollment Readiness team where we leverage our passion and learning mindset as we get to ensure Humana IT systems are ready for sales season and peak business periods. This is a dynamic team that performs program and project management and drives the strategy for Humana's peak readiness efforts. In this engaging role you will help support the IT organization's readiness for our peak sales season and servicing seasons using your critical thinking, problem solving, and strategic planning skills. You will be supporting the program management team with technical analysis including: business projections and how these are translated into IT requirements, ad-hoc analysis and reporting needs, and other critical work to support our sales and customer service readiness.ResponsibilitiesThe Business Systems Analysis Professional performs analysis of business, process and user needs, documentation of requirements, cost/benefit analysis and translation into proper system requirement specifications. The Business Systems Analysis Professional work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.The Business Systems Analysis Professional formulates and defines systems and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. Devises or modifies procedures and processes to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. Validates benefits achieved from solution implementation. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed.
