Don't miss your chance to be at the forefront of our exciting journey and rapid growth!</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities and Activities</strong></p><p><strong>Loan Accounts Receivable:</strong></p><ul><li>Manage the AR Payments inbox and assign inquiries to the appropriate team member</li><li>Manage and respond to borrower payment inquiries and inbound calls</li><li>Review and approve borrower requests, including additional payments, prepayments, restructures, chargebacks, deferred or skipped payments</li><li>Process daily loan PAP files and submit to the bank for approval</li><li>Review and file PAP validation reports</li><li>Post daily chargebacks to loan accounts and communicate details to the Collections Specialist</li><li>Review and approve borrower payment promises, monitor reprocessing attempts, and ensure timely follow-up</li><li>Contact clients via phone, text, and email regarding missed payments or broken promises, negotiating repayment plans for loan and insurance arrears</li><li>Collaborate closely with the Collections team to ensure accuracy and timely resolution of borrower accounts</li><li>Support clients with account or payment inquiries and guide them to borrower portal self-serve options</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Trade Accounts Receivable:</strong></p><ul><li>Prepare and issue AR invoices</li><li>Post AR payments against invoices</li><li>Process credit card payments for marketplace invoices</li><li>Perform collections on outstanding trade AR balances</li><li>Maintain organized records and filing for AR documentation</li><li>Ad Hoc / Cross-Training:</li><li>Cross training with other accounting team members to ensure coverage and support, including: Funding accounts payable, Trade accounts payable, and Insurance receivables</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Bilingual in English and French is required</li><li>Prior accounts receivable experience required</li><li>Self-motivated, quick learner, and highly organized</li><li>Pleasant, professional, and team-oriented</li><li>Proven track record of high performance and attention to detail</li><li>Able to multi-task and prioritize effectively</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Comfortable with documentation and administrative tasks</li><li>Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook, and other computer applications</li><li>Strong phone demeanor with a friendly and professional attitude</li><li>Adaptable and eager to learn in a dynamic environment</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Location</strong></p><p>This is an <strong>in-office</strong> role, preferably based in our Toronto office.
